The action and technical aspects of the original are considerably ramped up in this sequel, if you had a good enough sound card, the game had full speech and action sequences.

Commander Blair has gone from hero to zero, the flagship of the human fleet, 'The Tiger's Claw' has been destroyed, and Blair has found himself guilty of not protecting her. Despite his protestations that she was hit by invisible ships, his claims are laughed off and he is sent to a ramshackle outpost as punishment, his fighting skills are soon proven once more as the Kilrathi ships once more launch an attack on mankind.
